Welcome to the College of Information Technology and Convergence (CITC)!
Today, the world needs people who can solve problems by converging software and AI-based information technologies with various fields. In March 2022, our university has launched CITC to grow students who will lead the cutting-edge industries in the future, after reviewing the opinions of our university members, resetting the student enrollment quota, and reorganizing the university structure..
Focusing on core information technologies like AI, big data, and ICT, CITC carries out convergence research combining multiple fields including healthcare, media, and design to produce "creative convergence talents". CITC is comprised of 6 schools – Computer Engineering and artificial intelligence, Electro-Telecommunication, Data Science and Information, Media Communication, Smart Health-care, and Design. These schools are comprised of 14 majors including Big Data Convergence, Human ICT Convergence, and Human Bio Convergence. The structure and academic curriculum of CITC enable students to take interdisciplinary courses, acquire converged knowledge and expand their academic boundaries. CITC continuously develops cutting-edge learning and research infrastructure as well as programs that can help individuals strengthen core capabilities the future society demands.
Through interdisciplinary convergence and educational innovation, CITC will strive to become a human, life, and AI-focused college, develop new academic fields important for our future society and industries, and set an excellent example as a national university.
